8. The Flintstones
Remember the foot-powered cars, the fancy two-storey caves, and the retaurants that cater to cavemens. Fred and his family looked a lot awful like our family. This show revovles around the everyday family life of Fred Flintstone, and it involves our modern day activities would have been done back in the stone age. Basically, the Flintstones are the First Family of all cartoons.

7. Dexter’s Laboratory
This is where all our childhood dreams of being a mad scientist and having a secret laboratory at the back of our closet began. Dex is a typical boy who likes to experiment, and tries – and fails – to keep his hyperactive big sister, Dee Dee, out of his daily life. They are the epitome of what a brother-sister relationship is, which is made up of reluctant affection and unsolicited yet much needed advices.

6. Courage the Cowardly Dog
In the middle of Nowhere, Kansas lives a purple dog named Courage. Ironically, Courage is a coward who is owned by a couple – Muriel and Eustace. Eustace is a hot-tempered farmer who constantly harrases Courage. They always find themselves facing villains like zombies, mad scientists, monsters, and devils. Suprisingly in every episode, Courage always unintentionally saves the day, and becomes the hero.

5. Popeye the Sailorman
Popeye, and his love triangle story with Olive and Bruto is one for the books. The damsel in distress, Olive, always seems to be falling on evil Bruto’s hands causing Popeye to eat his can of spinach for strength to save his beloved Olive. Aside from the action-filled episodes, the catchy theme song is one of the most memorable theme songs in cartoon history.

4. Scooby Doo, Where Are You!
You’re not a 90s kid if you did not – at one point in your childhood – wondered how Scooby treat tastes like. This is also the origin of most kids’ fear of mascot for the villains that the Mystery Gang captures are men in costumes. However, the different personalities of Fred, Vilma, Daphne, Shaggy, and Scooby makes it more fun and relatable to all kinds of children.

3. The PowePuff Girls
Sugar, spice, and everything nice is what every girl aspired to be when watching this show. With three different girls representing different personas of every girl, it’s impossible not to love them! Another reason to love them is their ability to fly, and their gorgeous color-coded wardrobe. Adorbs!

2. Tom and Jerry
What better way to spend your days watching Jerry kick Tom’s butt, and get away with it? In the process, there some hard smacking of random things in Tom’s face, destroying everything in their way ( i.e. plates, cups, and anything fragile.) Basically, Jerry’s mission in life is to get Tom in trouble, and at the same time fill his stomach.

1. Spongebob Squarepants
He’s everyone’s most loved Sponge, the one who lives in a pineapple under the sea. How cool is that? To top it all off, he has a pink starfish as his bestfriend, and works in a burger joint with a crab as a boss! Indeed, spongebob is living the sweet life!
